My Estate Sorted was created around a simple idea: having a will is important, but the people dealing with our affairs may need much more than a legal document.

They may need to know what accounts and assets exist, where important documents can be found, which organizations need to be contacted, how household and digital affairs are managed, and what wishes have been discussed or recorded.

In an increasingly paperless world, that information can be scattered across documents, devices, emails, online accounts and cloud storage, or simply held in someone's head. When someone dies without a clear information trail, loved ones and executors may first have to piece together what existed, where it was held and who needs to be contacted before those affairs can be properly dealt with. That can add another layer of difficulty to probate and estate administration at an already challenging time.

My Estate Sorted helps close that information gap.

Through our estate planning organizer, Roadmap Survey and practical resources, we help people identify what they already have sorted, recognize where information gaps may exist, and take practical steps to become better prepared.
